FAG spherical roller bearings are double-row self-aligning rolling bearings designed to provide excellent misalignment compensation and high load-carrying capacity. Their key structural characteristics include:

  • Double-row roller design:
    Two rows of symmetrically arranged barrel-shaped rollers can freely adjust their positions within the spherical raceway on the outer ring. 
  • Spherical raceway:
    The outer ring has a common spherical raceway whose curvature center coincides with the bearing center.The inner ring has two spherical raceways, with their raceway centers inclined at a certain angle relative to the bearing’s vertical axis. 
  • Inner ring structure:
    The inner ring structure varies depending on the bearing type.
